Umaa School of Agriculture
Established in 2004
Umaa School of Agriculture is a registered institution under the Ministry of Higher and Tertiary and is known as Umaa Institute of Agriculture. The Institution was established as part of the Governments efforts to train farmers and modernize our agricultural sector after the land reform. Since the institutions establishment, 20 years ago, over 2'300 students have graduated and are now working in and around SADC especially Zimbabwe, South Africa, Botswana and Zambia.

Commercial Agriculture
Duration: 3 years
Full - time
This Diploma will require the student to complete 5 programs which include, Crop science, Animal science, Agricultural Engineering, Agri-business, and Sustainable Agriculture. The Diploma will require a student to complete level 1 in the first year, then will go for Industrial attachment in year 2 and in the third year they will complete level 2.

This Certificate will require a student to complete all the modules under Crop science. This program has been designed to incorporate modules under different programs to all ensure a well rounded student. Students will be required to complete 28 modules including an applied research project in order to graduate.

English and Mathematics are mandatory. If you do not have the required subject, students can rewrite the missing subjects while doing the course.

Umaa School of Business
Established in 1988
Umaa School of Business is the oldest faculty at Umaa Institute for International Courses, with its first enrollment dating back to 1988. It was the backbone of Umaa, with the most diverse enrollment of any faculty or campus in its early stages. In 1996, the faculty of Business Studies attracted students not only from Zimbabwe but from the entire SADC region. The school of business has trained journalists, accountants, managers, human resource personnel, hospitality and tourism staff, legal practitioners, secretaries, teachers, and IT personnel, with over 12,000 students passing through its doors since its establishment 36 years ago. The School has been committed to serving the local and the international community with students coming from as far as Rwanda to attain their diploma programs.
