Founder's Gala
Umaa is a mostly Academic Institution but this does not mean that we do not engage in sporting activities. During the annual sports gala, all the Umaa group of institutions gather to compete for the Dr Kundiona Trophy. Umaanians have a lot of talent and skill and this is where some students shine to show their talents. This event is set to celebrate the end and mark the beginning of the Umaa Calender. This is an event that stretches over 3 days, were soccer, basketball, rugby, Athletics, netball and vollyball are played. Students also compete in Modelling, chess, quiz and dancing.

FOUNDER'S GALA
Interact Club
This a Rotary International Club that focuses on severing the community before self. As Umaa we believe in building the community and we support the club to fight for human rights and promote ethical practices.
Parents Braai day
This is an important event of the year that brings together families and students as we promote unity and connections between various stakeholders. The event gives rise to social bonds as well as enjoying the company of loved ones over a braai. As in shona it is said " ukama igasva unozadzikiswa nechikafu".
